Hardware

For process control and data recording the Microinnova developed a special process rack. At the process interface measured values of pressure, temperature and flow sensors, as well as control factors and control variables are displayed on actuators such as pumps and valves. External I/Os, which are connected with an IPC by a data link, form the process interface. Our rack is conceived for universal wide range of applications.

Software

The software development at Microinnova is made on the basis of LabVIEW. Due to the high flexibility of the process control system there is no “uniform” appearance of the program. It is custom-designed and adapted to each plant. We distinguish between the flexible Tool MPDS for the development with respect to the laboratory and the stable automation solution CA (Complete automation) for production plants.

The illustrated application above enables the measuring of 8 temperatures and 4 pressures. Furthermore, pumps and flows can be regulated. The visual representation of the signal process is realized by the merged diagrams. All process data are written when desired in an Excel table, whereby each signal process can be represented in the form of diagrams additionally too. Any inaccuracies of the sensor technology can be balanced by a calibration function easily and fast. There is also the possibility to integrate on-line analytics.
