Microinnova works on visionary concepts and systems for the future:

Project COPIRIDE:

COPIRIDE stands for Combining Process Intensification-driven Manufacture of Microstructured Reactors and Process Design regarding to Industrial Dimensions and Environment. Within the European research project COPIRIDE, Microinnova Engineering cooperates with partners, such as Evonik-Degussa and the Institute for Micro-Technology Mainz, to develop the chemical plant of the future and its infrastructure.

COPIRIDE takes the approach of developing a multifunctional and all-purpose plant platform. Multiple plants and reactors are integrated in compact format e.g. a container to be applicable for different processes with a very high flexibility. The project members expect a maximization of productivity by minimizing the setup time, improved sustainability, lower capital costs, higher process security and energy efficiency as well as a direct economical benefit within the range of approximately 10 to 30 million Euros per year.

Project CAEC:

In the European CAEC (Continuous Annular Electro-Chromatography) research project we develop a concept in the field of separation technology together with partners like Novartis Pharma AG.
